First of all, the cable snapped during a movement and almost cause a major injury. This was 14 months after purchase, and the cable is only covered for 12 months. It is ridiculous that THE core component of the machine is only covered for a year. Basically this is telling me that the quality of the cable is so poor that it is only expected to last a year. I had this conversation with customer service and they let me know to order a replacement. I did, and they as sent lights(?) see picture for reference. I followed up with customer service and provided pictures of what I was sent along with the packaging to show the tracking numbers matched. I don’t know if you use AI assistants or your staff doesn’t actually read the emails, but they emailed me back reiterating that the cable is not covered under warranty and that I would have to order one like they told me before. I responded and pasted the previous email that showed that I did order a replacement and some random light came instead. Thankfully they acknowledged the mistake and sent me a replacement. Finally, finding instructions on how to replace the cable was very difficult. I finally found a guide, but that guide assumes that the cable did not break and I had access to the broken end. My cable was pooled up completely inside the machine. I had to figure out how to further disassemble and thread through the replacement. In short, product quality is dangerously poor, customer service is incompetent, and repair resources are non existent.

The cable replacement is just cheap paracord. The original feels like a tougher smooth covered cord. And if the replacement is just paracord why is it so expensive?

Had to repair worn cables. Emailed Speediance and paid for service. Repair was completed successfully and without any issues. Have been using my machine for 3 years consistently and hoping for another 3 years before needed to repair cables. Would recommend!

Replacement cables aren't that exciting in this case because they were bought for the eventual need in a year or 2 hopefully. Between myself and my kids, our machine is used for 17-20 workouts a week. I bought the cables so that when the time.comes, we can continue our workouts without delay. That being said, the order process was easy and did not take too long to arrive. I estimate it took 10 business days for my cables to arrive once the order was placed.
We are very happy with our Gym Monster and look forward to several years of consistent use (before my freeloaders begin leaving for college).

This is a good quality product.. So I did not want to rate it bad. However, there have been shipping issues and I'm still waiting over a month later to receive the product.
