What Is a Calorie?

This calculator estimates your daily calorie needs using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, one of the most widely used formulas in clinical nutrition for estimating basal metabolic rate (BMR). It then applies an activity multiplier to estimate total daily energy expenditure (TDEE).
