I’m still getting used to the machine. It’s been working great, it is just very different than what I’m used to. One thing I would say is that it would be nice if it came with some tutorials. I’ve been watching lots of YouTube videos which are helpful but there’s not much on them wellness plus subscription and I’ve been struggling with it a bit. All in all, I think this will be a great addition to my home gym
I highly recommend the Speediance Gym Monster 2. I ordered the GM2 directly from the Speediance website on the 15th and received it at my door on the 20th of the month which included the weekend. I read where people had waited weeks an even months to receive there equipment, but that was not my experience. They must have worked out their delivery issues. This unit is a replacement for my 25 y/o Universal gym that was so large that it occupied its own room. I have gained exercise capabilities as well as space. The footprint is amazing considering all of the capabilities of the machine. The machine is completely set up on arrival. All you have to do is roll it out of the box. Free weights were no longer an option due to safety concerns working out alone. The GM2 has the functionality of a small commercial gym. I have not found a muscle group that I cannot fully exercise with this machine. Go through the automated assessment feature and the machine will suggest what weight to use for each exercise. What a time saver! You can use AI driven exercise routines, pre-programmed exercise routines or design your own routines. The machine adapts to you versus you adapting to it. Bottom line it is expensive for the initial purchase, but well worth it since there are no subscription fees unless you want the AI Wellness program. If I had to do it all over again I would not hesitate. *edit* I went the cheapest route and ordered the Basic package which did not include the adjustable bench since I already had one. In retrospect I wish I had purchased the bench since mine was longer than the base platform and I had to add an extension with exercise mats to fully support my bench.
I just upgraded from a GM1 which had almost 20 million lbs lifted in 22 months with absolutely no issues to a GM2. Why you may ask ........ so we could gift our GM1 to a family member. The GM2 is amazing. I've found that it's pulleys are smoother, the sound is amazing and the screen response time is faster.This senior citizen loves her GM2!

I have a small home gym and didn't have the room for a rack and a more advanced setup. This machine allows me to do many workouts I'd otherwise not be able to do. It feels very smooth. It's definitely a premium purchase, but it really does work well. If you're an intermediate lifter, go for the s model because you'll hit the weight limit on squats fast. 220 is plenty for most other things though.

The GM2 has delivered on everything promised in the first few weeks. Aside from a few "wishlist" items, I am pleased with it and have recommended it to friends!
Only complaint so far is initial setup was a little tricky to change from Chinese Mandarin to US English. Other than that, so far so good. Just completed my first strength assessment.

It’ll take me a long time to max out the weight range, so it feels future-proof for my strength goals. Standout Features • Ultra-compact footprint: When the ramp is folded up, this machine claims almost no floor space—ideal for apartments or multipurpose rooms. • Instantaneous weight control: I can dial resistance up or down via the touchscreen or the ring, and even toggle weight off at the start or end of a set. It makes loading heavy lifts safer and more convenient. • Smooth cable action: The retraction feels buttery smooth. I once felt a tiny bump on one side during cable return, but Speediance’s FAQ guided me to a two-second fix. • User-friendly app: The companion app is intuitive and stable, though I hope Speediance continues to refine it with the rapid-iteration practices pioneered by other smart-home brands. Opportunities for Improvement I’d love to see a dedicated “Community Programs” section in the app where users can upload, rate, and follow each other’s custom workout routines. Speediance highlights a few standout community workouts on Facebook, but integrating them natively in the app would unlock tremendous value and motivation. Who Should Buy This? I highly recommend the Gym Monster 2 to anyone who works long hours or endures a lengthy commute. Saving the time spent traveling to and waiting at a packed gym is huge—especially when you can’t control the weather or your schedule. Even seasoned lifters will appreciate the on-demand versatility and privacy, while beginners can choose from structured programs that build strength and muscle-control safely via the cable system. Overall, the Gym Monster 2 is a premium investment, but the convenience, space savings, and dynamic performance make it well worth the price for busy professionals and home-gym enthusiasts. If you’re like me and have been on the fence for a while now, if it doesn’t hurt your wallet TOO MUCH. I say go for it. You won’t regret it. And may your cables and rotors last you years and years.
