Though having the home gym for less than a month me and wife have loved every minute on it. Simple to use, quick and easy set up. The video lead workouts are much helpful for anyone starting out. We love it!

We love our gym monster! It’s compact enough to fit in the small home gym area with the treadmill. The seamless connectivity with the Apple Watch is a huge plus as well.
The only thing multiplying faster than our children is our gains. We’ve had the Speediance Gym Monster since launch day, and honestly, it’s outlasted most of our adult brain cells. Since we first plugged it in, this machine has been the absolute bedrock of our fitness routine with precisely zero reliability issues. It just works. In the time we’ve owned it, we have somehow managed to add two more kids to the mix (bringing our grand total to a chaotic four). While our free time and sleep schedule have completely tanked, our fitness hasn't. Why? Because the Gym Monster is sitting right there, ready to give us a world-class workout faster than we can change a diaper. No matter how busy life gets, the massive library of premade routines and the ability to build custom workouts means we never run out of ways to sweat out the parenting stress. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the tech. The interface upgrades and the development team’s consistent knack for actually listening to user feedback is huge. It feels like the machine gets smarter while we get stronger. Plus, the strength tracking and the little dopamine-hit of the reward system are basically the only things keeping us motivated to consistently lift heavy things when we’d rather be napping. If it can keep a household of six in shape and running smoothly without a single technical hiccup, it can handle anything. Five stars. Zero regrets. Now, if Speediance could just roll out an interface update that teaches kids how to put their shoes away, it would be the perfect machine.
I purchased the Gym Monster in November ‘25. What sold me on this machine vs others was that it doesn’t need mounted to a wall and doesn’t require a monthly subscription. Beyond that, it looked like it could do almost every exercise I would be interested in doing at a gym. While it’s an investment, the idea of being able to simple walk to another room in my house to workout vs driving to a gym was also very enticing. Without the monthly fee that similar machines require, this really is an economical option. I had been working with a trainer at a gym for several months to learn how to use machines, what exercises target what muscles, proper form, etc. Even with all that new knowledge I still found myself not going consistently and feeling really intimidated in the gym. With a solid foundation, I bought the gym monster and used ChatGPT to create a customized 4-day split based on the machine and my goals. It was pretty simple to find the workouts in the app and create the 4 custom workouts. Since then I’ve modified them a bit based on my experience and preferences with the machine, which has also been easy. I have now been progressively overloading these programs for 4 months without missing weeks. If you are someone who is motivated by quantitative data like me, you will love all the stats on this machine. I love that it tracks and remembers all my weights for movements and shows my progress over time. While it sounds dramatic, this machine HAS been life-changing. Combined with cardio (like the Peloton pictured), I am more active than I’ve ever been in my life (turning 40 this year) and am completely recomping my body. People sometimes complain about the software or other shortcomings they feel the gym monster has, but to me it’s an INCREDIBLE machine that makes strength training so much more accessible to people and I am so impressed by the technology. HIGHLY recommend, you won’t regret the investment!
I bought my GM in January 2025 after trying a friends Tonal. I really liked the Tonal a lot, but wasn’t interested in having to mount it on one wall, and paying a monthly subscription rate. I saw the GM on Facebook and after doing my research, decided to buy one. I figured that if I didn’t like it I could always return it. I’ve been using the GM 3-4 times a week since I bought it. I moved away from free weights a number of years ago because being in my 60’s I didn’t want to risk injury. I belonged to a local health club, but lost my motivation because I was tired of getting ready, driving there, and then constantly waiting for people sitting on the machines staring at their phones. When I started using the GM I was 220 pounds and about 22% body fat. Today I am 175 pounds and 9.5% body fat! And I’ll be 69 in June! As you can see from my photos, I’ve changed things up a little. I’m using the Ironmaster Super Bench which works very well for me. I’ve also started using a few different bars for curls and lat pull downs. Speediance was kind enough to send me D Rings at no charge so I could complete my setup. I have a little over 4,200,000 pounds lifted, and have had absolutely zero problems with my GM! The Bluetooth ring has never failed me. I am still using the original cables with no fraying whatsoever. I’ve never had an internet connection problem. I’m so happy that I decided to buy the GM. It’s been a real life changer for me. It’s a tremendous piece of equipment!
I’m absolutely obsessed with this machine. My husband bought it and honestly I didn’t even know what it was at first. One month later, I’m hooked. As a woman, the gym can feel intimidating. What I love about this is how easy it is to use. Adjusting the weights takes seconds, the workouts guide you step-by-step, and it tracks all your data. It feels like having a personal trainer at home. I’ve only had it a month, but I’m excited to see the results because one thing is clear: muscle is the key to longevity, and this makes strength training simple and doable.
I have been an avid gym-goer for several years, following a strength training program 5days/week. I thoroughly researched the best product to do as much of my routine as possible from home, while keeping a minimalist setup without taking up tons of space. I am beyond thrilled with my choice to move forward with the Gym Monster Works Plus (I chose this option for the adjustable bench). This has been a blessing since the GM2 arrived! I’ve worked out almost everyday! I was intimidated to do weights at the Y and people always waiting for you to finish! This is perfect and so user friendly! I haven been able to lose weight but I have with this. When you’re tired and don’t feel like working out you do anyway because it’s not an inconvenience! Go get one of you don’t have one! It’s worth it!!
Write a review We bought this machine over a year ago and it’s been absolutely A game changer. We opted for Speediance instead of traditional weights was to use it safely around our kids. There is practically nothing to install, it comes fully assembled. There is no room for any excuses to not working out with the "gym Monster" at home! Although this machine is on the pricier end, we are making a good use of it and it's an investment for your health!
Absolutely love my gym monster! Everything from delivery to setup, to exercising was smooth and easy. I purchased the wellness+ plan and it makes working out painless and gives me a great pump. It's easy to add a HIIT workout after lifting which is super convenient. I look forward to my workouts 5 days a week!
My wife and I purchased the gym monster family plus package, and couldn't be happier with the unit! We specifically chose the family plus package for the included rowing machine, and it is awesome! We really like the guidance & coaching that is built into the gym monster, and this include the rowing machine. In fact, we sold our old rowing machine just so that we could have a rowing machine that is incorporated into the gym monster programs. Additionally, we previously used traditional weights and a cable smith machine that we replace with the gym monster. It is SO MUCH NICER to be able to switch weights and exercises so effortlessly and quickly compared to moving weights around a smith machine to change exercises or for a different user! With the blue tooth ring, you can change the weight/resistance simply by spinning a thumb dial on the finger ring (much like on an apple watch) which is extremly convienent and adds a safety net to your exercise because you can instantly remove the weight from the cables just by puching the button on the blue tooth ring! We highly recommend the gym monster!

I bought the Gym Monster two months ago and have been actively using it almost every day since then. I am very satisfied with the device because it allows even complete beginners to learn and progress quickly and effectively. My two sons are also enthusiastic about the device. However, I have had problems with the Bluetooth ring and handles disconnecting from the very beginning, so I contacted technical support. Their response was very quick and they soon offered me a solution to replace these accessories. Now I am waiting for the replacement accessories to arrive to test them. Currently, I use the device without the help of Bluetooth devices and turn on the weight manually (on the screen), which is also an option, but it is less convenient than using wireless accessories. I bought the Gym Monster device along with all the accessories and the rowing machine and I must say that everything is made of extremely high quality. I also like that the device and accessories do not take up much space and are therefore suitable for smaller spaces. Overall, I am very satisfied with the device itself, as well as the communication and accessibility of technical support, and I can recommend this device to anyone who wants to exercise and tone their body, but doesn't have much time for fitness. You won't regret it.
The packing material /engineering was next level. Unpacking was a snap and setup was super easy. It wasn't clear how to increase the volume... I had to google how to raise the volume to even listen to the vids on how to set up and do assessment drills. That was super frustrating. Getting "too slow" on 16bs barbell squat was also super frustrating. It worked on day 2, not sure why I was getting that error. I'd like to see a pause button on videos vs a 15 second delay. It's only been 2 days but I'm very happy I pulled the trigger
I bought the Speediance machine thinking I might use it now and then. I did not expect that it would replace my gym membership entirely, but it has. You can do nearly all of the same movements that you can do in a gym, so why have both? Great machine all around.

My son and I use our GM1 5-6 days per week each and absolutely love it!!! It's been a total game changer for us. Convenient, a HUGE amount of exercises that you can do and super easy to operate. Probably one of the most underrated things is - it's just a ton of fun to use! I don't dread lifting like I used to when I was going to a gym. Best piece of gym equipment I have ever bought. Great delivery experience and easy to unbox by myself. Set up was easy and automatically did a system update. Now I get to experiment with settings and equipment! Excited to get back into shape after a year of debilitating cancer treatments!

The set up instructions was not very clear but figured it out eventually. There should be an introduction/demo of setting up workouts, programs and settings. Overall appears to be a well built machine with many workout programs. It’s just going to take a bit to learn them

I waited for over 6 months before deciding to purchase the Gym Monster, and man I wish I had done it sooner. The screen is snappy, the machine is quiet, and the resistance feels so smooth. The number of exercises I'm able to do with this is mind-blowing - plus it will effectively pay for itself over going to a traditional gym. The software is great as well, and it keeps improving! This is an amazing machine and it fits great in my space. Before i got it i was looking at squat racks and dumbbell sets and I was looking at spending 4 time what this machine cost me . Glad I found the gym monster when I did plus I feel like the resistance with the cables activates my muscles more than with free weights.really great machine I had it for about a year and I’m very happy.

I’ve had the gym monster for over a year and I have multiple sclerosis so I use the gym monster for a rehab rehabilitation I especially love the rower. It’s a great exercise for me and my condition. I absolutely love this machine! It’s compact, versatile, and perfect for quick but effective workouts. The design makes it easy to switch between exercises, and I’ve already noticed a big difference in my strength and energy. It’s been one of the best fitness investments I’ve made!!! For any one that wants to stay motivated, I put my machine in my bedroom so when I wake up, don’t even need to get super dressed to workout.
This machine has been fantastic. It is incredibly versatile, compact, sturdy and I'm nowhere close to pushing it's limits. The programming is great with all types of premade workouts for any level. But you can also build your own and save them using a great interface on your phone or directly on the machine. After owning it nearly a year I have seen it go through a number of significant software updates adding features like phone connectivity for music, or heart rate monitor connectivity and AI features as well as additional content and workouts. It's amazing considering they don't charge for the software. They really listen to their users and have even implemented a suggestion I've sent in.

I have the first Speediance that the company has come out with. This product has been a life changer for me. The hardest thing about getting back into shape was physically going to the gym however I did not feel I was able to get an adequate workout at home. This machine and program has not only changed that for me but also at an affordable price! Being able to join the community without a monthly fee, workout in the privacy of my home, and regardless of the weather conditions, there are no excuses being that I don't have to leave the house!
